A CORI form must be completed upon accepting a position in the district, in addition to payroll-related paperwork. A CORI form must be completed with the application. We do not accept photocopies or faxes of completed CORI forms. A government issued photo id, (driver's license, valid passport) must be shown when you are completing a CORI request.

SWCEC BCBA will oversee behavioral programming for the collaborative. Duties include, but are not limited to, consulting with program principals, behavior specialists, and program faculty for the purposes of building capacity in implementation of behavioral programming and ensuring the highest quality of services. Knowledge of and experience with students contending with autism as well as experience working in a therapeutic milieu is important. Additional responsibilities to consult with or provide assessments for member districts as contracted through SWCEC. Depending on district need, the position may grow into full time.

Behavior Specialist is an integral member of Grow Elementary School faculty, a Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the building principal and coordinating with SWCEC BCBA in setting the tone for building culture specific to behavioral supports for students and ensuring quality programming. Additional duties include coaching faculty on the implementation of behavioral programs, providing training for and monitoring implementation of physical management techniques, conducting functional behavioral assessments, participating in IEP development and progress reporting and well as behavioral data analysis (SWCEC uses SWISS Program). Knowledge of and connections to community-based supports for the purposes of coordinating wrap around care as part of IEP team preferred.  Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Intervention Systems (PBIS), experience working with students contending with Autism and mental health disabilities within a therapeutic milieu is important.

Permanent substitute provides support to The Grow Middle/High School. Duties include covering classes, filling in for absent teacher and potentially support for lesson planning. Permanent substitute teacher is member of behavior support team. Candidate should have DESE teaching license and successfully complete provided physical management training.

SWCEC Special Education Assistant will work at The Grow School (vacancies at both the elementary and middle/high school). The Grow School is an approved public day school therapeutic program of the Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative. Experience working in a school setting with students who contend with social emotional behavioral disabilities and with autism spectrum disorder is important. Duties include supporting instruction within the classroom and implementation of behavior support plans for individual students as well as within the therapeutic milieu. Successful completion of CORI and fingerprinting necessary. Completion of physical management training upon hire is required.

Tutor

 

 

Special Education Tutor at Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative provide individual educational and behavioral supports to students with social emotional and behavioral disabilities. Tutor works under the special education teacher in the classroom in a DESE approved Therapeutic elementary school. Experience with this population preferred. CORI and fingerprinting and successful completion of physical intervention training is necessary.

Nurse at Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative will work  during school day with students in SWCEC programs: The Grow School (students with emotional and behavioral disabilities) and Developmental Programs (students with medical or autism disabilities). Per diem positions fill in, as needed, in programs. RN or LPN considered. Licensure required. Candidate will be required to complete CORi and Fingerprinting.
