The Greenhouse Program

The Greenhouse program at Bay Path has both a vocational and academic component servicing students of high school age. 

The vocational component emphasizes the importance of being a good employee with a solid work ethic.  Many local businesses have helped and been helped by our students.  Job coaching and/or the services of a vocational instructor are available to students who are working in the field.  The students of the Greenhouse program are involved in the day to day operations and daily maintenance/care of a working greenhouse.  Additional activities include car care and a landscaping component. 

The academic component of the greenhouse program is geared to the individual student’s needs in the area of Math, English, Science and Social Studies.  Emphasis is placed on functional living skills such as completing a job application, money management, employee-employer relationships and skills necessary to become a productive independent member of the community.
